Leaving Summer Behind

Welcome Fall!

The air is crisp. In the sky, the sun shines brightly (where are my sunglasses?) but not quite as warm. (Where is my jacket?)

Or the clouds roll in quickly, deep and gray. (Now where is the umbrella?)

Wisps of small gold-brown leaves are just beginning to nestle in the corners of the yard.

Let’s celebrate with a collection of leaves.

Vintage cast iron leaf.

Cast Iron TrioI have 3 of them. Heavy and old, with fabulous details. I have no idea what they are for, but they like to hang out with us each fall.

Bridge Cloth

Details on vintage bridge cloth. And yes, it needs to be ironed.
